Why the whales?

Every Other Breath is a tribute to the Humpback whale families of the planet. Whales/Cetaceans positively impact our planet like no other being. They contribute to 50% of Earth's oxygen and capture an estimated 37 billion tons (40%) of all CO2 produced, the International Monetary Fund reckoned it would take four Amazon Rain Forests' to capture the same amount annually. Every other breath of every being on the planet, is directly connected to the life of a whale. Embedded in the whale's natural way of life lies great hope for our own. Protecting and prioritizing whale lives by creating marine reserves, consuming less plastic, finding better ways to fish, and making it safer for whales to migrate through shipping lanes only contributes to public good.

Below I have included just some of the exciting work happening in whale conservation and research, enjoy!
