The Westside Mural Project evolved out of a slight artistic identity crisis & an internal call to explore roots... not inherited roots, but the roots I chose for myself. No soy una nativa del Westside, elegí el barrio porque del espiritu; me sentí atraído a este lugar porque de la gente. I created the Westside Mural Project as a means to further explore, learn, and listen de mis vecinos while gathering inspiration for new murals reminiscent of the contemporary Westside spirit.
